We are a small batch, hand-crafted preserve company located on Georgia’s Unicoi Wine Trail and our passion is food. It is what wakes us up in the morning and what lets us rest easy when we go to sleep.

Our goal from the beginning has been to create delicious, local, and really good food. We do this by sourcing our ingredients from our friends at local farms and wineries. By partnering with our neighbors we are able to substantially shorten the distance from farm to table while bringing you the very best spreads and preserves.

Clark & Suzy Neal

Suzy and Clark Neal are the dynamic duo behind Unicoi Preserves, a Georgia Grown company with original recipes for gourmet jellies and jam. Their Georgia Apple Cider Pepper Spread is a 2015 Flavor of Georgia finalist and is the ultimate southern appetizer with cream cheese and crackers and translates as a perfect complement to wild Georgia shrimp and grits.
Based in north Georgia wine country, in the small art community of Sautee-Nacoochee, the Neals are home cooks and outdoor enthusiasts with a passion for local food. Surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest, mountains, wineries and farms inspires the Neals to support local agriculture and business. Cooking with seasonal and local ingredients makes for tasty meals – fresh ingredients just taste better.
The Neals enjoy living in their mountain community and having relationships with local food producers – the family who mills their grits, the winemaker who makes their favorite Traminette and the farmers who produce their vegetables, fruit and meat.  The Neals are community volunteers at Yonah Preserve Trails in Cleveland, GA and enjoying mountain biking, hiking and spoiling their retired racing greyhound, Fox.
Over the past few years, the couple have thrown their hats into the competitive culinary arena, winning first place and people’s choice in the amateur division at the Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival, finishing 6th in Chili at the World Food Championship and in 2019, Suzy was chosen to compete at The National Festival of Breads.
