Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches

Directions

1. Preheat griddle or pan over low-medium heat.

2. Spread peanut butter on both pieces of bread. This creates a barrier to keep the Unicoi Preserves contained when the sandwich gets hot.

3. Top one slice of peanut butter bread generously with Unicoi Preserves Apple Cider Pepper Spread. Assemble the sandwich by topping with the other piece of peanut butter bread.

   

4. Add butter to the preheated griddle. Turn the heat to medium and let the butter brown. Add the sandwich. Press lightly, and cook on one side until golden brown, and peanut butter starts to look melty. Flip and cook until golden brown and delicious.

5. Cool slightly, the filling is hot! Serve with a big glass of milk, and some sliced apple.
