Celebrating Annie's Gotcha Day with a Unicoi Preserves Barkcuterie Board

Directions

1. I created Annie's Barkcuterie board using some of the snacks she's allowed to have.

   She adores Ingles rotisserie chicken, so I shredded a bit and put it in a small dish in the middle of the board.

2. I fanned apple slices in the upper corner of the board, and slid in the bowl of BelGiosioio marscarpone cheese topped with Unicoi Preserves Salted Caramel Peach Spread. I placed the toast nearby since those are the cheese and jelly delivery devices.

3. Annie loves tortilla chips, so I included a few of those.

4. I made carrot chips using a crinkle cut French fry cutter, but you can also use baby carrots or carrot sticks. Dogs don't judge!

5. As an ode to Annie's luxurious white fluff, I took a couple pieces of Frigo string cheese and shredded them to resemble Annie's floof! Those are in the upper left hand corner of the board.

6. Annie helped heal our broken hearts after we lost our greyhound Fox in 2019, so I cut tiny hearts out of Wisconsin cheddar. Annie loves hiking and being outside, so I made her some cheese flowers too! You can find the mini cutters I used on Amazon. But, once again, dogs aren't judgy, you can just cut the cheese into squares.

1. I chose foods Annie is allowed to eat when I built her Barkcuterie Board. This is for a treat, and is meant to be shared with humans, and does not replace Annie's regular bowl of brown circles, aka DOG FOOD. Also, I am not a veterinarian, and am not offering medical advice for your dog.

   Build your dog's board with their favorite snacks, and if they don't get human food, use a few of their special treats to build a cute board, celebrate some time together, snap a picture, and tag us on Instagram!

   Human foods NOT to include grapes or raisins, known to cause kidney damage in dogs.

   Same with avocado, onion, garlic, chocolate, chocolate covered coffee beans, Macadamia nuts or fatty meats.
